Prototype 2 merupakan game Action yang diluncurkan oleh Activision Games, yang merupakan seri terbaru dari games Prototype versi sebelumnya. game ini menceritakan seorang bernama James Heller yang merupakan pemilik kekuatan berubah wujud sama halnya pada versi prototype sebelumnya namun dengan kekuatan yang tidak tertandingi dan kekuatan yang baru, latar tempat di kota New York yang telah terinfeksi oleh Virus, dengan tujuan akhir yaitu membunuh Alex yang merupakan pencipta kekuatan James Heller.
